Mission 1: Vile Disruption

Conditions for winning

Conditions for losing

When you start off, you will receive some Hunter Killers and a few Zerglings. Send them in a group in a northwest direction, and arrive at the first Hive. Defeat the Zerglings attacking the Hive with your force. When you get close to the Hive, some more friendly Zerglings will appear. But another attack wave of enemy Zerglings come as well. Defeat them.

Now move east to the next Hive, and destroy any resisting units on the way. When you arrive, some more Hydralisks will become yours.

This time, move south to the third Hive, keeping your forces together. The third Hive gives you some Scourges, because in the next Hive southwest of this one, some Guardians are attacking it. Use the Scourges to kill them and move northwest for the next Hive.

This one will be under attack by Guardians again, and use your Hydralisks and any remaining Scourge to kill them quickly.

Now, move south for the next Hive, with your newly acquired Queens. At the southern Hive, there will be some Ultralisks. This time, instead of moving in your forces right away, use the Spawn Broodling ability to kill some of the Ultralisks and your forces the rest.

Next, a Hive east of you is under attack, and the only way to reach it is by Nydus Canal. Move your forces into a Nydus Canal east of the last Hive you visited (including two newly acquired Defilers), and pop up hear the last Hive. Fly your Queens over and use the rest of their Spawn Broodling Abilities on any Ultralisks you can, and use your force to touch the Hive, gaining new units, and use them together to defend the Hive.

If you run into trouble, Ensnare enemy units, and use the Defilers to cast Dark Swarm on your Hydralisks if enemy Hydralisks are giving you trouble. Be warned that if an Ultralisk or Zergling ventures into the Dark Swarm, they will be invincible to ranged attacks from your Hydralisks, so if they get in there, lure them out with the Hydralisks. Plague is also another good way to cut down on enemy hit points, although you have to watch carefully where you aim.
