April Fool's Contest!
04.01.2004 Update by Merlin
For April Fool's we were considering just releasing this shrine, but since we did something so similar last year, we've decided on this instead: Hidden somewhere on the site, we've pulled an April Fool's day prank. If you find it, e-mail our prizes e-mail address. Please describe the prank and include the url where you got it from. A random winner will be drawn, who wins a free copy of Drakengard! Contest closes in only a day or so, get cracking! Good luck and happy April Fool's Day!
April Fool's contest winner!
04.03.2004 Update by Merlin
I am pleased to announce that we have a winner of our April Fool's day contest. Charlemagne correctly found the prank. He'll be receiving a free copy of Drakengard within the next week or two. If you'd like to see the prank, please visit this archived page. Thanks to all our other entrants, too bad most of you assumed that the prank was that there was no prank!

This week's topics are RPG "perspective" - whether you prefer old-school sprites or the new 3D model system, and enemy battles - have you ever taken an excessively long amount of time in defeatine one? Vote to your right, and don't forget to send in suggestions!
Chronicle of the Radia Shrine
04.05.2004 Update by Hiryuu
I finally finished the Chronicle of the Radia War Shrine. The game itself is one of the best action RPGs the NES had to offer... pity it was never released in America. All in all, it's a great game that should be enjoyed by all, and since the shrine's now complete, you no longer have any excuse to not be playing it.

Two more shrines!!
04.18.2004 Update by Merlin
RPGC has two more shrines to unveil for you kids. We now have shrines covering Ranma 1/2 (SNES) and Shining Soul (GBA). As well, welcome Shogetsu and Cryptoniyte to the staff, who created and maintains each shrine respectively.

You asked for it, and now you're getting it. The Chrono Trigger shrine has been improved greatly, and among many other things, it now has a brand new picture walkthrough. Don't kid yourself, you know you want to check it out.
So Long and Thanks for All the Fishes
04.22.2004 Update by Rirse
No, I am not quitting the staff, but I am closing down my subsite, Twisted RPG Theatre. I feel the subsite has done enough in it four year life span, plus the fact it hard to update. If you need some sprite comic fun, go read a old episode of Macc's HQ. I still making shrines, so don't think for a minute I am retiring. :D
Because I'm tired of explaining this again and again...
04.22.2004 Update by Tenchimaru Draconis
To everyone who visits the chat: One of the servers, namely whitewinged-angel.com, is currently being moved cross-country on a crazy fun-filled adventure. Because of this, whitewinged-angel, studio64 and eryxma are down. This means that you'll have to connect to edtheserver.yi.org in order to get on the chat.
Also, services are (at the time of writing) up, but they're using an old database. It's not a month old, despite what they say. If your nickname is unregistred or something similiar, don't bother reregistring it, for it will be back to normal when they get the new databases up again. This has been going on for the past few days, and we don't know exactly when it will all be fixed, but it will get fixed eventually.
Also, we are as of now setting the terrorist activity color system to yellow. Beware of Mothra.
Kingdom Hearts Shrine

Its finally complete! Check it out here. Expect another update from me later on in the day.
EDIT: Ok, screw making another update. I can use this one just as well, eh? Anyway, the DBZ: Legend of the Super Saiyan, DBZ: Super Gokuden, DBZ: Super Gokuden 2, and DBZ: Legacy of Goku shrines have been slightly tweaked. Tables and walkthroughs for all of those shrines have been fixed and cleaned up a bit, as well as the broken images. I've also updated my bio, so I guess you can look at that if ya wanna.
Today marks my two year anniverssary as staff and its been great, but its time to move on. Starting tomorrow I'll begin a nice long vacation from RPGC to get my head (and some other matters IRL) straight. I've gotten to know some of you pretty well over two years, and I thank you for making my stay as enjoyable as it was. I could make some list of people to thank, but thats just not me. The ones that I've gotten to know know who they are, so thanks. It's been great. Peace out.
