First off, the original release of Planescape: Torment was veeery buggy, so, before even starting to THINK about playing the game you should download Ps:T's official patch. You can check the patch's readme file here.

Even though the official patch fixes a lot of bugs it doesn't fix all. But, fear not, because Platter and his team took the time to make another patch which fixes most of the remaining bugs. Download it at Platter's, http://planescape.outshine.com/ .
Make sure you also check out the other sections of his site, there's a lot of interesting stuff on Ps:T there.

Here you can also download Platter's infamous Tome o' Cheats for Ps:T. For those of you who don't know, Tome o' Cheats is:
a book that you can 'talk' to. It has several options, like changing your character's stats, alignment, class, money, experience, health status, location and available party members. It can give you many useful items including some items that were not included in the game, and all of the game's spell scrolls from levels 5-9. -Platter's discription

For those of you who feel there are not enough quests on Ps:T, download Platter's "Candlestick Quest" mod, this mod will enable the Buried Village quest (it was disabled by Black Isle in the final version). All the text and everything is Black Isle's (so don't go blamming Platter for the typos). Check the readme here.
