CharactersJill Valentine: is one of the two main characters of Resident Evil, as well as Resident Evil: Nemesis. If the series ever had a female lead she is most definitely it. She's smart, tough as nails, a weapons expert and a 'master of unlocking', basically she's a "Jill of all trades". She's a bit of a potty mouth, as she's the only character who continually curses, and has a bit of an attitude. Her partner is the ever-lovable Barry and the two of them make on hell of a team. Chris Redfield: is the male lead of Resident Evil, as well as one of the co-stars of Resident Evil Code: Veronica. He's an ex-ace air force pilot and is not one to be trifled with. Or so people say, personally I think he's just a normal guy thrust into dangerous situations and his morals won't allow him to sit by and let the atrocities Umbrella has committed go unpunished. While he's not really great at anything, he's good at most things. While he lacks the wide variety of abilities that Jill possesses he's stronger, faster and although he has less knowledge on weapon operation he has a higher level of skill. His lack of weapons is made up for by a higher headshot rate and sometimes he can take a zombie down in fewer shots. HIs partner is the ever-annoying Rebecca and the two of them make an extremely effective team. Barry Burtons: is a bad ass, family man. Barry will do anything to protect his family, which is likely why he agreed to help Wesker form STARS. Because of his devotion to his family he sometimes goes overboard and often acts first and thinks later when it involves a threat to his wife and daughters. Barry carries a .50 caliber, special edition Magnum and it packs one hell of a punch. Barry's somewhat gung-ho, no guts no glory nature is the polar opposite to Jill's reserved, thoughtful nature. Thats what makes them such an effective duo. Rebecca Chambers: Rebecca is an enigma. She's one of the two stars of Resident Evil: Zero but she sure as hell doesn't show it in Resident Evil. She's a wimp, she can't even take on a hunter in Resident Evil. Yet she can go toe to toe with a half-baked Tyrant in Zero. Rebecca is the medical specialist on the Bravo team and is also the only Bravo team member to survive the horror of Ecliptic Express and the Mansion. She's only 18 years old and already she's been through a level of hell that most people never experience. Albert Wesker: is the commander of STARS. He's a suspicious individual and there is far more to him then meets the eye...no he's not a transformer. Albert Wesker has a mysterious past that will be hinted to as the game progresses. All that can be said is his motives for creating STARS and sending them into the mansion is cloudy as best.
