TMP

I have no idea what TMP stands for, nor do I care, so don't ask. That being said I'm a sucker for all things rapid fire so this baby is one of my favorite weapons.

Chapter 1-2 when you first encounter the Merchant. 15,000 .4 30 .1 2.37 8/10 Most people will tell you that they don't buy the TMP because it sucks. Well they're morons. The ammo is abundant, the firing rate is obscenely high and the capacity matches it. Eventually fighting with the TMP will be like shooting a standard handgun ten times in a second. It makes for an extremely handy weapon against Gigantes and pumps ammo into enemies so quickly they have no time to react, let alone attack. It's also very, very useful against the Chainsaw Family. It can take out one of them in less than fifty bullets. So about 5-10 seconds of firing, the bastards won't even reach you. Let alone attack.

100,000 Chapter 4-4 at the Merchant after defeating Salazar. Ups the power of the TMP to 1.8. Expensive, I know, but it wastes far less ammo this way. I suggest taking this upgrade only if you use the TMP a lot, other than that it's useless. I always take it as I use the TMP even more than the handguns.
