All Zerg ground units, with the exception of Ultralisk, can burrow underground and become invisible to other units. With the exception of Lurker, Zerg units, while burrowed they cannot attack.

Defilers can launch tiny Parasites into the air, covering a medium sized area for approximately one minute. During this time, all enemy ranged attacks are disabled, and is very useful for breaking defenses and even defending against an attack.

Defilers can cover units and structures within a certain radius with corrosive spores that damage for about 25 points per second, for 12 seconds. During this time, the targeted unit or structure cannot die directly due to Plague, but Terran buildings may burn up, and other units may attack and kill with ease.

Defilers may consume any friendly unit for 50 instant energy. The amount of energy regained does not depend on the size or cost of the unit, so it is a good idea to choose a cheap unit to Consume.
Description:
Defilers, once obtained and spells researched, can be extremely helpful in both attack and defense with its arsenal of useful spells. Because of comsume, a Defiler lightly supported can be an attack force all by itself and cause great damage to an enemy base or force.
