• Build 3 Supply Depots
• Harvest 100 Vespene Gas

Conditions for losing:

• All your buildings are destroyed

In the tutorial, you will learn unit control, mineral gathering and building structures. Tell your SCVs to harvest minerals by clicking on them and right-clicking on a mineral patch. Later, build more SCVs, and when you have enough, tell two of them to build supply depots. Do this by selecting "build basic structure" in the bottom-right command console, and selecting "supply depot" (for 100 minerals). Place this supply depot anywhere the entire supply depot shows up in green. After that, all you have to do is build a refinery (select build again, and move the refinery highlight on top of the vespene geyser) and gather 100 gas.

You start off with 20 marines, and you can take 12 and scour the level for Zerglings. The Zerglings will not attack you by themselves unless you engage them. It is safest for your marines if you tell them to move around with the attack-move command. Do this by selecting "attack" or typing "a" on your keyboard, and selecting a spot on the map. The marines will not attack the spot you selected (unless there is an enemy structure or unit present there) but will move towards that spot, attacking any enemy units or structures they meet on the way.

Once you have built 3 supply depots and gathered 100 gas (you can have up to 4 SCVs collecting from one refinery. Any more SCVs on the same refinery will be of no effect) you will complete the mission, and move on to the terran missions.
