Mission 2: Dunes of Shakuras

Conditions for losing

Take your initial Zealots and move them west, with your Probes close behind. Start building a base next to the mineral deposits, and place your Zealots on the eastern edge, and maybe one the southern edge. As soon as the Nexus is complete, start mining and building more Probes.

Eventually some Hydralisks will arrive, and when they do, Dark Templar reinforcements will arrive along with them. Set the Dark Templars to guarding your southern and easter entrances as well. When you have a decent amount of workers and minerals, build up a Photon Cannon shield of about 4 to 6 Photon Cannons to the east, and pull back all your units, as the eastern edge is now relatively sealed up.

Now start getting Zealots and Dragoons. When you have about 12 of any combination of units, attack south and there will be a Zerg base in the southwestern corner of the map. Kill it off and take over the resources.

Now, group your units again, and send reinforcements until you have about 24 of any combination of units. Send them northeast to encounter another small Zerg base, and then once you cross the second bridge, go directly east and south to engage some more Sunken and Spore Colonies. Now you may continue south down the ramp to attack the Zerg main base.

Even if you don't finish them off, you can always gather another attack force at your leisure, as the Zerg should by crippled by now, and you have a good resource spot in the northeastern corner. 2-8 Reavers in 1-4 Shuttles are fun to wreck havoc on the Zerg with in this mission.
