Mission 2: The Dylarian Shipyards

Conditions for winning

Conditions for losing

You start out with a group of Marines, Medics and Pilots(Civilians). Leave the Pilots behind but never too far from the Marines. Get the Marines and Medics to engage the Bunkers in your area one at a time, and you should be able to take them out having little or no losses. Move your pilots to each of the three beacons.

In the next area, there are three elevated Siege Tanks waiting to attack you. Have your Medics move ahead in groups of three or more (Or, send them in solo if you're confident with your hotkeying skills), and when the Siege Tank attacks you and becomes available, quickly get one to cast Optic Flare on it while the others heal. Repeat this for the other Tanks and move your pilots to the beacons.

In the next area, you will receive four Nukes. The Science Vessel patrolling the first pathway is very annoying, so cast Lockdown when it strays to the sides far enough, and have a Ghost destroy it. Next, cloak a Ghost and send it in and nuke the center of each enemy unit cluster. Take care not to stray near the Missile Turrets too much. Cloak your Ghosts and finish off the surviving Marines and Firebats in the Bunkers. Do this twice more, and even if you mess up once, you'll still have an extra nuke.

In the next area, your two Siege Tanks get locked down right away by an enemy Ghost, so have your Medics hurry over and cast Restoration to neutralize the threat.

Move your Siege Tanks ahead to destroy enemy untis and a Bunker. Now, repeat the Locking down and destruction of Science Vessels with your Ghosts, and then cloak your Ghosts and pick off the Siege Tanks.

Move your remaining Pilots to the beacons and prepare for an aerial battle. You'll some time to prepare, so make three Battlecruisers group 1, three more group 2, and so on. When the enemy Battlecruisers arrive, have group 1 fire their Yamato Gun at a Battlecruiser, and do the same thing with all the other groups. This should take care of 4 or 5 enemy Battlecruisers right away, plus you should have more Battlecruisers than they do anyway. After that, simply destroy the rest with your laser bursts.
