Mission 3: Ruins of Tarsonis

Conditions for winning

Conditions for losing

First, bunker off your northern flank and build some turrets along the western. Then, build a force of about 12 Goliaths and 12 Siege Tanks. Move them west to the next Hive for Sieging. A Science Vessel would help spot the Spore Colonies and enemy units on the ledge while your Siege Tanks have a field day. Use the Goliaths by placing them near the Tanks and putting them on Hold. When you've killed off the perimeter, drop the Siege Tanks on to the main base and kill off any remaining resistances.

There is a mineral deposit to the southwest of your main base, so dro an SCV along with some Marines there. Build a Barracks and have 3 loaded Bunkers with a few Turrets scattered around as protection.

Next, now that you have the expansion plus the Zerg base you killed's resources at your disposal, build up a force of 12 Battlecurisers. You will also meet some Mutalisk and Hydralisk resistance at the next base to the east, but the 12 Battlecruisers should be able to shred them with realtive ease.

Destroy the Hive and return to your base for repairs. Once that's done, move them east and destroy the second Hive in much the same way. Repair the Battlecruisers if need be, but keep moving to all the Hives, and when all the Zerg broods are pacified, move Duran in by Dropship with your Battlecruiser escorts.
