| Well here it is, the end of the world, well at least thats what it would be if time hadn't been frozen at least. It seems as though this world is one that was being destroyed by the heartless but for some reason time froze it in place during its destruction. Anyway in this first part its a little tough to navigate since you can't walk wherever you want to and that there isn't a visible path. Also take note that the enemies here are quite powerful, even the mighty Behemoth shows up as a normal enemy at times, so be prepared. If your characters have tackled the Hades Tournament then you have absolutely nothing to worry about here. But you can still have a pretty good shot in your mid to high 50's and if you have beaten Hercules at the coliseum. Either way good luck and have fun, this is a great area to level up and to get some very rare items. |
| This first area is very large. Also there are only semi-random battles, as in the only battles in this area occur when a large black orb falls on the party. There are also alot of items in this area, many of which you have already recieved before for beating the bosses of certain worlds. Basically to navigate you must turn towards the closest chest and run towards it, sometimes there are small detours, but nothing to bad. Once you get it down you will be able to get to the other side and enter into the next area. By opening all the chests in this area you will obtain a Power Up, a Defense Up, a Megalixer, some munny (also to note that once you beat the Behemoth in this area and return from the "void" you will recieve an Omega Arts), also you will recieve an Angel Bangle, a Megalixer, a Defense Up, Three Stars, a Dark Ring, and another Power Up. Once you get all the items head towards the six stones and the collapsing star. To enter the next area you must defeat another Behemoth. |
| Welcome to what seems to be the origin of the gummi blocks. The large blocks you see in this area are all gummi blocks. It seems that this is where they have originally came from. There aren't to many heartless in this area so use it to your advantage to glide from chest to chest and outcropping to outcropping. If you happen to fall all the way to the bottom you can climb back up using the webbing in the area. If yo uglide from the entrance to the crystal covered platform you can obtain a Haste2-G on this platform, in the blue chest. Now go back towards the entrance and drop down a few levels to get to a blue chest containing aa Haste-G. From this chest jump the gap and run down the slope to get to a chest with an Esuna-G. To get the Ultima-G in the area, you have to find the basket like area high up in the crevasse. Drop inside this area and fight the heartless, once you defeat them a rock will dissappear allowing access to the area with the ultimate laser gummi. There is a Thundara-G that you can obtain in basically the same way, just lower down in the crevasse. Once you defeat the heartless in this "basket" a hole will appear on the ground and the chest containing this gummi is on the platform below. Now get down and use the Save Point near the bottom of the crevasse and then jump into the glowing white light. |
| You have just entered the entrance point of the heartless into all worlds. I know you where wondering how they got there if you kept blowing up their gummi ships. Well this is it. A series of portals that open up to every world. Also to take note is the fact that if a world has been locked by the Keyblade its pillar of light will be purple. If it has yet to be locked then it will be blue. Basically what you will be doing here will be entering into the center pillar of light on each platform to return to each world and fight some heartless, get an item, and then proceed to the next platform, by using the blue light that appears after you enter the world on that pillar. On the first pillar you will enter into a closed off section of the Third District in Traverse Town. Defeat the heartless here, open the chest to gain a Brave Warrior. Open the doors to head back to the crater and now head to the next pillar (use the blue light to get to the next platform). On the next platform head to the center pillar of light. Enter the light to head back to the Rabbit's Hole in Wonderland. In here defeat the heartless and gain an Ifrit's Horn from the chest. Now head back to the crater and to the next platform. On here head into the pillar and you're transported to the Coliseum Gates where of course you will fight some heartless. Defeat them to gain an Inferno Band. Now head back and use the next pillar. This will take you to Deep Jungle where after defeating the heartless you will obtain a White Fang. Now again heaad back and use the next pillar. Now you will be transported to Agrabah where you must fight in all three areas of the main city. The chest here is on the highest platform of the Palace Gates. Open it for a Ray of Light. When you are done head to the ext and go to the next pillar. This one will take you to Atlantica. Defeat the heartless and get the chest for a AP Up. Now swim to the cave with gold trident to return to the World Terminus area. Now head to the next pillar. This takes you to Halloween Town, you should have this down by now. Defeat the Heartless and get the chest for a Holy Circlet. Head back and enter into the next pillar to go to Neverland. Jump through the new hatch on the left and continue through rooms unknown and finally get the chest containing a Raven's Claw. Now head to the last area. Now this last pillar of light is different as the pillar is green. This will take you to the 100 Acre Woods, there are no heartless here, but you can still use the Save Point and get the Megalixer from the chest. |
| Now enter the next crater, by way of the blue light again. In here enter the red flame, once transported defeat all the heartless in this hallway and enter into the "computer room" Open the chest in here to get another Megalixer then activate the computer as it summons more heartless for you to fight. After defeating the heartless again, go back to the crater the same way you came into this area. Now head back to the previous crater and go into the 100 Acre Woods again and save and prepare for a boss fight. Make sure Sora has at least Curaga and Aeroga on his magic shortcuts. Then head back to the last crater and jump into the blue vortex pit in the center and into the pit of the Chernabog. |
| Chernabog [HP)1500] [EXP)15,000] |
| Now this battle is very similar to the fight with Ursula at the end of Atlantica (when she was as large as her ego). Basically the only difference is that now you are flying and not swimming. NOTE: for those of you who don't recognize the Chernabog from a Disney movie or a Square game watch Disney's Fantasia. When the Chernabog rears back be prepared for its Firaga breath attack. You can dodge this attack easily, he will either breath left to right or right to left never both ways, so get past and attack his head, but get away quick when you see him preparing for his next attack. When it leans forward it is preparing to make the volcano he is sitting on erupt. This attack is unavoidable from close range so get away as soon as possible. When you knock the Chernabog down to its green HP bar it will begin to create energy balls that home into your position; but if you use Aeroga they will bounce off of you so make sure that Aeroga is up at all times. Just keep attacking its head until its dead. Once you defeat the Chernabog you will recieve the Superglide shared ability.
| Once the Chernabog is defeated you will want to descend into his volcanic crater. Pass through the portal at the top to return everyone to feeling gravity again. Now drop from platform to platform till you get to the bottom. At the bottom of the crater enter the shimmering portal. In this new area, it seems you arrive at the frozen piece of time when a world is being destroyed. Continue through this area and the next few until you reach an area where you are forced to fight a Behemoth. Once the Behemoth is defeated then you will notice that a piece of the heartless crest fell off the back wall. Continue defeating the heartless in this area until the whole crest falls off. Then enter into the Final Rest. |
| Final Rest |
| Open the chest for a Megalixer. Use the save point here to save and restore. Make a note to yourself. This is you FINAL chance to return to the gummi ship and do anything extra in Kingdom Hearts. Once you pass through the final door you see here you will start a sequence of events and boss battles which will culminate in the ending of this game, so make sure you have done all you wanted to in Kingdom Hearts before entering the final door. Once you are ready for the end examine the door in this area twice and be prepared for a shock because you are heading back to... |
| Destiny Islands |
| Now you probably never thought you would see this place again, after what happened in the beginning of the game. But apparently this area is named Destiny Island for a reason. Once you get over the shock of seeing your islan whole and undamaged (but missing the friendly final fantasy characters), head over to the Secret Place. Riku will appear on the beach head over to great Ansem. |
| Ansem [HP)1500] [EXP)10,000] |
| In my personal opinion Ansem was a joke in all his forms, if you thought that Sephiroth was easy in FFVII then you will laugh even harder at Ansem. His only difficulty lies in the fact that you must fight 11 Boss fights in a row. Though some of these are scarcely a fight at all. Anyway in his first form Ansem has a "guardian" which is connected to him at all times. Attack physically as much as possible, attack magic is basically worthless in these fights. A few times during the battle you may notice that Ansem's guardian attaches itself to Sora, if this occurs be wary a "?" will appear over Sora's head and the Freeze option will appear instead of attack. If you try to attack while this is up you will be caught by the guardian which will then drain a large amount of HP from Sora. You can however attack it with Ragnarock. Also try to attack Ansem while you can during this "possession". Once you defeat Ansem take a moment to heal Sora and refill his items. |
| Darkside [HP)900] [EXP)8000] |
| Thats right, its time to face this guy again, and once again you are by yourself (get used to it, the majority of the final battles will be fought this way). This battle is basically a joke, you are so much more powerful than this guy this time around just show him the power of the Keyblade and make him sorry he ever tried to destroy your home in the first place. |
| Ansem II [HP)1200] [EXP)20,000] |
| Like I said before the fights with Ansem are pathetic. Though this one does have its own version of difficulty. Once again you must fight alone. Only this time is against an oppenent who actually has powerful attacks and moves quickly. As soon as the battle starts Ansem shows off some new fighting techniques he withheld from your last bout. His first is a dash attack similar to Riku's from Hollow Bastion. This is very powerful but can be dodged with high jump and superglide. You can also use Aeroga to reflect this attack which causes him to stop flying at you. When Ansem says that he will show you his power and begins to glow. The guardian with Ansem will now follow Sora around leaving pools of dark energy you can dodge these with Dodge Roll, if you time your dodge correctly you will not be harmed at all when then pools explode upward. Also the guardian grab makes a reappearence in this fight, only this time if you attack when Freeze is up you will get double-teamed by Ansem and the guardian. It is to dangerous to use regular attacks on Ansem at this time so make sure you utilize Ragnarock to pierce Ansem's force field. If he doesn't run away this is the best way to damage him at this time. When Ansem finally tells the guardian to return to him kick the crap out of him with Keyblade combos. Once his HP drops low enough finish him off. |
| World of Chaos [HP)1500] [EXP)20,000] |
| Starting at this time all the remaining battles except for 2 you will be flying so I hope you have learned to fly and fight well in Neverland. That being said this battle is very much like those of Ursula and the Chernabog. Sora is alone once again but this is nothing to worry about. The most dangerous part of this battle are the lasers that shoot from Ansem. When you see them fly away and up or down to avoid them then return to beating Ansem some more. Also watch out for Ansem's halberd attack this happens infrequently, but is very powerful, so be prepared. |
| Room Core [HP)30] [EXP)0] |
| Now thats some impresive stats for a boss ain't it...specially a final boss. Basically this is first of three rooms you must destroy to free your party members. The room itself is entirly black except for small areas of light on the floor. This area is filled with Shadows, just lock onto them and rip them apart with the awesome power of the Keyblade. Once the last Shadow is defeated a small strand appears in the center of the room. Lock onto the strand and attack it with a combo to free yourself, from the darkness. |
| Artillery (Small)[HP)150] [EXP)90], (Large)[HP)240] [EXP)240] |
| There are rows of artillery cannons on the World of Chaos ship. Fly towards them and destroy them all. Since Sora is still alone watch your HP meter. There shouldn't be much need to heal as the middle cannons drop MP balls and the outer ones drop HP balls, but still be careful. There is a guardian at the back of the ship who will use large claw swipes to try to knock you back away from the cannons but don't let this sway you. Taking out the artillery is quite easy. Once destroyed head into the shimmering portal that was just revealed. |
| Room Core II [HP)30] [EXP)0] |
| Back in the dark again. Only this time Goofy is with you, and its Darkballs you fight not Shadows. Once the Darkballs are defeated destroy the strand in the center again to free both yourself and Goofy from the darkness. |
| Face [HP)1200] [EXP)3000] |
| This is one of the easiest fights with the World of Chaos. Basically just cast Aeroga on Sora and fly right up to the large face and unleash combo after combo on it. Its HP will fall quickly. Now its time to head back to the dark again. Enter the shimmering portal that was reveaeled when you defeated the Face. |
| Room Core III [HP)???] [EXP)???] |
| Now its time to save Donald. This is a much more difficult Room Core, instead of Shadows and Darkballs you will be fighting the airborne Invisibles. You now have all your party members back so this battle is not that difficult, just lock onto the heartless and unleash your physical combos on them. Once defeated destroy the core to return to the World of Chaos. |
| Main Core [HP)300] [EXP)0] |
| The main core of the World of Chaos is finally vulnerable. But before you attack it, fly underneath the ship and take out all the artillery you see, this will help in lowering the damage you take at this point in the fight. Now head back up and fly towards the tentacle artillery and attack. When you reach the center attack the main core, and laugh at its low HP and low defenses. The only problem that could arise is if you fail to destroy the artillery below first. |
| World of Chaos: Ansem[HP)1500] [EXP)20,000] |
| Ansem has a couple new moves in this final form but none that are to hard to deal with. Just remember to keep Aeroga on and cast Curage when you need to. Basically just fight him as you did before with just Sora, and be happy because when you beat him its over... |
| Congratulations, you have defeated Ansem. Now as not to spoil anything I will say just this, sit back and watch the ending. And if you spent the time to find all 99 dalmations, to win the Hades Cup and to seal every world including 100 Acre Woods and the Olympus Coliseum, then you will be happy to know that you will get to now watch a secret movie after the credit roll. Also pay attention to the ending. Congratulate yourself for beating Kingdom Hearts and saving all worlds from the Heartless...or have you... |
